Merry Chirstmas, one and all!
Sadly, Michaela and I have been parted for this holiday break, but no worries, I found some pretty good substitutes for her: my two beautiful sisters! We enjoyed the crisp Colorado weather yesterday, setting out to do some last minute Christmas shopping. Miriam sported bold colors while Veronica went for a more relaxed and preppy look. I set out in a comfortable blouse paired with a striped tank for a pop of needed color. Veronica and I both sported our matching Sperry’s, a must have for any college girl. We hope everyone’s Christmas has been filled with joy, blessings, and of course remembrance of the reason we celebrate today: the birth of the Savior of the world!

We love good bargains, and we both decided to sport our cheap finds on the same day! Ralph Lauren is a brand we can scarcely afford, but there are often Ralph pieces in stock at TJMaxx and Marshall’s for a half or third of the price. We love the versatility of our pieces, and you will notice that Gaby dressed her tee up, while Michaela opted to dress hers down.
Gaby took advantage of the somewhat warm November day, wearing an khaki trench and an olive brown miniskirt. Her classic Ralph v-neck was elegant yet simple. She got one last wear out of her Jack Roger’s sandals for the season, and tied the whole look together with gold jewelry accents.
Michaela went for a boxy look, wearing distressed light wash boyfriend jeans and olive Toms. She found her Ralph sweater at a thrift store for $2! Talk about a steal. She paired it with a blue flannel, looking studious and comfortable on a fall day.
We hope you are all enjoying the cooler weather and pretty trees!
Our special guests on the blog this week are our handsome friends Gabe, Austin and Michael. Who knew with no prior modeling experience they could take such an enrapturing photo. Kudos, boys.

We spent this weekend in Weston, MO at Apple Fest, an annual festival celebrating the harvest season. Scores of people from all around the area flock to Weston every year to mark the start of autumn. Tents selling handmade jewelry, clothing, pottery and housewares lined the intimate and quaint streets and a whole square was dedicated solely to homemade food. Never ones to miss out on good food, we shared a hand-dipped corn dog, ice cold soda and deep-fried Oreos, a “delicacy” too sweet to pass up. The day was a perfect start to the season.
Today was an exceptionally nice day for late September. We took advantage of the weather and explored the grounds behind our school’s Abbey today. “Abbey Land” is so gorgeous at this time of year.
Michaela wore a staple piece, a breezy chambray shirt, made fit for fall by layering an olive green v-neck underneath. Her easy-going look was completed by distressed denim shorts, and the ever so comfy Birkenstock sandals.
Gaby’s look was mostly neutral, wearing a light gray cardigan paired with crisp white shorts. Her look was brightened by a soft, heather-pink scoop neck tee. She topped off her airy ensemble with dainty gold jewelry and Jack Roger’s sandals.
We hope you all enjoy the rest of your week! Thank you for reading!

Summer doesn’t want to say goodbye quite yet! We comfortably wore long sleeves with skirts and sandals today, a perfect combo of comfort and temperature-consciousness. Gaby wore a super-soft Ralph Lauren crew-neck sweater paired with a light chambray skirt and monochromatic Jacks. The bright Lilly bag added a pop of color to complete the outfit. Michaela paired a soft, dusty-rose boat-neck shirt with a sweet drawstring skirt. The comfort level was brought in with the classic Birks.
Introducing our special guest on the blog today, our lovely suite-mate, Miss Hannah! Hannah rocked a feminine look with a pretty blue skirt and black v-neck shirt and added a tomboy twist with navy Ked’s. Perfect for class on this breezy Friday afternoon.
