Savoring summer before it bids farewell for good.
Rain boots and dresses were all the rage today, with temperatures around 50 degrees and scattered rainfalls. We matched today in bold navy and red, in what was perhaps an attempt to brighten the otherwise dreary day 🙂
Last weekend, we had the pleasure of spending a night out on the town in downtown Kansas City. We attended the American Fusion Project at a local theater along with a whole crowd of our classmates. Living in a small college town, the chance to get dressed up for an evening out is always a rare and exciting opportunity.
Gaby was radiant in white, wearing a dainty lace dress, completed by nude heels and a statement clutch. The hardware on the clutch paired with the gold and neon colored jewelry tied the whole look together. Michaela donned a graphic checkerboard shift paired with glossy ebony pumps and a classic Kate Spade crossbody purse.
Stay tuned for our next post!
So, unfortunately, Michaela left me this weekend…in other words since I had no photographer, it was a selfie shoot today for the first ever MonarCHIC post.
Today was a beautiful, windy day, perfect flowy shirt weather. The way the lace ripples in the wind gives the entire outfit a whimsical feel. Perfect for this dreamy day!
